Rebecca is a freelance lighting designer recently re-located to Lancaster, PA from Chicago, IL. While her recent focus has been in lighting design, she also loves working as a lighting director and project manager.
One of the best parts of the lighting design process is being in the space where she gets to illuminate the world, whether it is an interior NY Flat or a mystical place that has never existed before. Physically bringing the stage to life is the magic that brightens her world.
In addition to designing, she has also enjoyed being in the position of Lighting Director. One of the great things about serving in that role is the collaboration and experience she shares with her team as they find innovative solutions to complex problems, often pushing the bounds of budget, time and feasibility.
Rebecca is thrilled to have celebrated her 18th season as the Lighting Director at Blue Stem Center of the Arts with Trollwood Performing Arts School. There she has enjoyed summers outdoors in a beautiful 3000 seat amphitheater in Moorhead, MN teaching Jr. high and high school students about all aspects of lighting.
Rebecca is looking forward to exploring new opportunities on the horizon.
